Tucked Away is run by me, Alexander, a serial small-business owner. I am driven by story and fueled by a pursuit of a life of creativity, adventure, and community.
I began renting my suburban lakeside home on Airbnb in 2013, back when sharing your home with strangers was a novel idea. What started with the hope of making a little cash from a vacant apartment, grew into a passion for hosting guests and connecting with travelers from all over the world. Several properties and thousands of guests later, I'm here to share the mindset and skills I've learned as a host that has allowed me to succeed over the past decade.
